About Me

Charity grew up in a family full of passion, religion, and rules. She has faced less than ideal community surroundings but has managed to keep her mind focused throughout her child & adulthood. She finished high school in Dayton, Ohio. Later pursued an Associate's degree at Miami University of Ohio. Years later enrolling at Franklin University obtaining a 4-year degree. Charity has always enjoyed reading and listening to books, both fiction and nonfiction. She didn’t know that writing would be among her other passions like business, cosmetology, or holistic wellness until she finished her debut book. Now that she’s finished her second manuscript, set to be published in January of 2025, she’s sure she’s caught the writing bug. She hopes to reach her goal of not only impacting people in a positive way but make a living doing so.

She wrote her first book because she believed there had to be people out there who like her wanted to connect the dots between experiences and growth. Surely there are people who want to hone from her openness to encourage others along their journeys. Her deep-rooted passion for service most of her working history has proven she's where she thrives the most. She’s never minded dancing to the beat of her own drum or taking the less popular road. She finally understands that she’s meant to stand out, not blend in.  

Her style is all her own, comfortable & easy, whether in the warm or cold. You may've figured out purple is a favorite. Charity loves going out for coffee at new and emerging shops. She loves to support small businesses and farmers markets whenever possible. She appreciates donations that keeps her giving books away all year long.
