I first want to say that I kept my married last name, (Pleasant) because I didn't want my son growing up with a different last name from mine after my divorce. I came up with Pleasant Investments because I believe each person who invest in my products; invest time, money, and into me. I never have believed that there is a downside to reading a book. My non-fiction books are not just my personal story, they're human stories. They encourage, inspire, and connect you to usable tips along your journey too.
I have always carved my own path. Growing up in a world defined by tradition and strict rules in Dayton, Ohio, I learned early on the power of focus and the importance of staying true to one’s own rhythm. While my top passions include cosmetology, holistic wellness, and education, earning a degree in Business Administration, it was the 2021 release of my debut book, All The Things That Nobody Told Me, that revealed my true calling: the written word. So, whatever offerings you choose, my hopes are that you see them as much as a pleasant investment as I do.

Charity has always enjoyed reading and listening to books, both fiction and nonfiction. She didn’t know that writing would be among her other passions. She’s now published: a second nonfiction, a memoir, and a third & fourth, self-publishing & gratitude journal. She’s sure she’s caught the writing bug. Memoir lovers will connect with her human story as she corelates some of the unforgettable lessons she has learned on her bold journey. She's never minded dancing to the beat of her own drum or taking the less popular road. She finally understand that she's meant to stand out, not blend in.

Her latest work and first foray into fiction, The Neighborhood, showcases her ability to weave diverse perspectives into a compelling narrative. Driven by a desire to impact others positively while honoring her authentic self, she hopes to reach her goal of making a living through her writing. She feels most confident holding true to what makes her feel at her best and writing stories that others can enjoy for years to come. You may've figured out purple is a favorite. Other favs are going out for coffee at new and emerging shops, farmers markets, supporting small businesses and other entrepreneurs whenever possible. She appreciates donations that keeps her giving books away all year long.
